Our Team

Eric D. Partin is the Co-Founder of EDP Assurance, LLC.

Since 1993, Eric has helped individuals and advisors simplify and navigate the confusing waters of insurance, financial planning, and estate planning.

Eric attended the University of North Carolina-Asheville and played goalkeeper on the soccer team.
Eric currently enjoys saltwater fishing at the Outer Banks of North Carolina and is an avid cyclist. He competes in 10+ century bike races per year. 

Jonie A. Welborn is the Co-Founder of EDP Assurance, LLC. 

Prior to working with EDP, Jonie ran a successful restaurant in the mountains of Western North Carolina.

When Jonie is not working, she enjoys hunting, looking for sharks’ teeth and working out at the gym!
Jonie’s proudest accomplishment is being the mother of Dakota, Austin, & Dalton!

Jason D. Posey is the Chief Executive Planner for EDP Assurance, LLC. 

Prior to working with EDP, Jason owned a retail store that consistently ranked in the top 10 in the country for 23 years.

He attended Blanton's Business College and has an industrial degree.

Jason is the proud father of Jacob, Brooklyn, & Brent and has been happily married to Jill for over 25 years!
